New Community of Practice on ICTs for Agriculture
At the SNRD Africa conference in Pretoria, the CoP ICT4Ag was launched into life. It is open to anyone working in the area of information and communications technologies for agriculture in developing countries.
Julia Bayer who is leading the activities clarifies for all those who are hesitant to join: “One doesn’t have to be a digital native to join and make an impact! The community connects GIZ colleagues who have experience in the ICT for agriculture field. We are looking for more knowledge and exchange on good practices.”
There will be online meetings throughout the year, using new webinar technology to enable an efficient exchange within GIZ internally but also to bring in external ICT4Ag experts.
