IPBES Regional Assessment on Biodiversity & Ecosystem Services

The Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services IPBES aims to strengthen the knowledge/policy interface in the biodiversity arena. In March it held a large plenary session in Bonn where 126 members negotiated the parameters of international biodiversity policy processes.

The ValuES project compiled a newsflash to get you interested in the opportunities the IPBES process offers for your work. It summarizes the decisions taken at IPBES-5 and provides an overview of the main activities of the platform and its partners.
