New Virtual Exchange
Forest Landscape Restoration for Practitioners
Under the framework of the African Forest Landscape Restoration Initiative (AFR100) and via GIZ, BMZ is directly promoting activities for forest landscape restoration in Cameroon, Ethiopia, Madagascar and Togo. However, forest landscape restoration (FLR) as a landscape approach is also an option for activities in other countries.
During the last meeting of SNRD Africa’s CCLNRM working group, participants of the FLR session decided to establish a regular virtual exchange on the topic of FLR. Colleagues will be able to use exchange regularly on experiences, problems and challenges in connection with the implementation of FLR in their respective countries of operation. It will serve as a platform for an exchange of practitioners and for mutual learning.
